What a weekend! On Sunday I travelled across the country to T4 On The Beach and spent the day darting between the press tent, VIP bar and the front of the stage to bring you some exclusive photos and tidbits from the awesome event. I'll have more posts with more fab photos coming up later today so stay tuned! Among the huge lineup were those lovely men from McFly, who definitely got the biggest screams of the day as they performed a short energetic set of four songs that included their debut single "5 Colours In Her Hair" as well as their catchy current offering "One For The Radio".
I took a whole bunch of photos of Harry (so beautiful in the flesh), Tom, Dougie and Danny both onstage and backstage, so make sure you check them out after the jump. Behind the scenes I saw Harry catching up with (really nice) ex-Son Of Dork member Dave Williams – who later chatted away to me as he hung around with mates in the press tent (his girlfriend was dancing onstage), then happily gifted me with an already-free beverage – before Harry headed off to watch Duffy perform her set. The band were rushed from place to place by their people all day and only just managed to pose for a brief set of photos in the press tent before being moved on. But they did say they were having a fantastic time, and Tom shared in Harry's love for Duffy by saying she was the person he really wanted to see perform.

Whilst they posed for their brief photo session Danny played around with a red freebie frisbee and teasingly chided some of the photographers for making a girl with a smaller camera feel inferior(!), Tom was super-professional but quiet, and Harry insisted on hugging and then pretty much humping Dougie, who first looked pleased and then slightly pained with his bandmate's display of love! What a nice bunch of lads they are – and don't worry, I'll be bringing you lots more from T4OTB later on today including exclusive pics of the Skins cast, Agyness Deyn, Alexa Chung, Carl Barat, Gok Wan and many more.

Saw McFly on Saturday night at Pop Park - they were awesome. Was lucky enough to meet them, and they were the nicest, most considerate, unshowy celebs I have ever met. They made every one they spoke to feel as if they were the only person in the room. They deserve every ounce of their success for their sheer good-natured-ness, let alone for their phenomenal talent. Haven't stopped playing Radio:active since I picked it up on Sunday, think it's brilliant. McFly - you're simply the best.
