Here's your first glance at Frost/Nixon, a movie depicting the series of television interviews between British TV stalwart Sir David Frost and President Nixon, after Watergate. The film will premiere at the London Film Festival in October, and will be released in UK cinemas in January 2009. It has a great cast including Sam Rockwell, Michael Sheen, Kevin Bacon and Matthew Macfadyen, and was directed by Ron Howard. It looks pretty fascinating to me, but I want to know what you think. Will you see it or skip it?

Really really really excited about this - I know the original interview from seeing it at university but didn't have chance to see the play in London. Michael Sheen is always amazing playing real people.

I like the actors, but this type of film just doesn't do it for me, as much as I like politics.

It does look pretty good! I usually skip that kind of things, but I might have to watch that one. Sticking out tongue

I'm very anxious---I think it'll be a great collaberation between U.S. & U.K. history, not only the actual real characters but the amazing actors, Sheen & Macfadyen working with America's favorite director, Ron Howard. Everyone should see it to support their "own" but mostly, I can't wait to see Matthew Macfadyen's bare butt running into the ocean!!
