The stars of Gossip Girl were dressed for Winter to film around NYC yesterday. Blake Lively kept Penny warm under her coat as usual and Leighton Meester bundled up in Uggs before changing into heels for the camera. While Blair Waldorf isn't one for tennis shoes, in real life Leighton and Ed Westwick are both promoting sneaker lines.

After lighting UNICEF's Snowflake in New York City yesterday, Rihanna was joined by Madonna, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Mary J. Blige and Adrian Grenier for the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection dinner. Rihanna officially launched her collection to benefit UNICEF at the event at Plaza Hotel: check out her most recent video ad here. 
Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF.

On this week's Gossip Girl there aren't things like murders or drug overdoses, which I was hoping for kind of expecting given the show's history. In fact, it seems like everyone puts aside their differences for one day in the spirit of Thanksgiving despite the fact that Gossip Girl hinted there would be "lying, manipulation, and betrayal" on the Upper East Side.
The entire cast is present in this episode, too, and it seems like all loose ends from the past couple of episodes have been tied up, while the seeds for future intrigue are definitely sown.

Last night was Thanksgiving time for our favorite Upper East Siders, which brought with it drama as usual, as well as some heart warming moments and festive holiday attire — get the looks from the episode here. Anna Wintour, who may be considering retirement, hosted some of Manhattan's pretty young things at the soiree. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley traveled as a duo as usual, though they never pose together.

Last night, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue, held their fifth annual Fashion Fund extravaganza in New York City. The big winner was Alexander Wang who won $200,000 along with a year of mentoring. The runner-ups were Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai (Vena Cava) and Albertus Q. 
A couple really loose ends, and big plots, got resolved in this Turkey Day episode of Gossip Girl. Whew! While I love the drama, sometimes it can be exhausting and I get antsy for new fireworks.

For her more dressed-up look, Serena pairs a Porter Grey top (get the next best thing from See by Chloe) with a mustard-colored skirt and accessorizes with a necklace by Stephen Dweck.
