Russell Brand was full of smiles as he went to the cinema in Hollywood. The comedian is spending more and more time in LA, as the biggest
presenting gig of his life approaches.
When he's not spending time
chatting up mannequins, Russell will no doubt be busy preparing for the
MTV Video Music Awards.
Following that
VMA promo with Britney — where the singer says Brown instead of Brand — we've got more surname fun as LL Cool J calls Mr Brand a word that no one could accuse him of being.
I cannot wait for 7 September.
So here they are, the much talked about MTV Video Music Awards promo spots featuring Britney Spears and our very own Russell Brand... or is it Brown.
I'm loving that in the first one they're addressing that some people in the US don't really know who Russell is, that Britney is so together and fabulous (yay!), and the elephant in the room!
Who knew that Russell would be the pop princess's saviour.
Russell Brand was back to the look we all recognise him for yesterday, following
the gym-bound ensemble that he showed off last week. As he was picked up from his house in London by a driver, Russell took some time to chat to him whilst sucking on a lollipop. Russell's
bringing a British flavour to this year's MTV Video Music Awards in LA, along with the awards category
of Best UK Video – which Estelle, Duffy, Coldplay, Leona Lewis and the TIng Tings are up for this year.
